Two-Gun Bob: Top Ten, Baby

Brian Leno keeps his thumb on the pulse, and just popped in the news that Robert E. Howard’s landmark Cthulhu Mythos yarn “The Black Stone” made the cut for Library of America’s ten most read stories of the year — from their online Stories of the Week feature.

LoA has been poking around, trying to determine what writing exactly is canonical, you know, these days. It’s looking good for Two-Gun Bob.

“Howard ended up in fifth place,” Brian notes with obvious satisfaction, “not too bad for a neglected American Master.”
