Jeez. Just when I thought I was out, they pull me back in. . . .
In three days I’ve got the talk or panel with Signman: John Law in Oakland, a couple of hours, and done. I figured after that I could hole up in my lair for the weekend, not do anything on the panel circuit for awhile.
Kevin Hunsanger, once of Green Apple Books but now trying to get the San Francisco Cultural History Museum up and running, asked me if I could be on another panel with John, Sunday June 30. Only thirty minutes, from 5:30-6:00, then we’re supposed to vacate the stage so Chuck Prophet can do a set. Panels, music, readings — a two-day pop-up event in Jack Kerouac alley, between City Lights and Vesuvio’s.
